These are children of Widow Celia Tomberlin who you can find in the 1878 Book History of McDonough County pg. 66. She with her three children # 1 James B. # 2. Fountain and # 3. daughter Priscilla W. In the year of 1826 were one of the first families at the Carter Settlement.
- James B. Tomberlin age 22. s/o Celia Tomberlin married Clarissa "Clanky Hays age 21 d/o Emmons Hays Jan, 12, 1832.
- Fountain C. Tomberlin age 23, s/o Celia Tomberlin married # 1 Matilda Coker Jan, 6, 1834. # 2 Marriage to Jane Chockley Nov, 8, 1837. & # 3 to (Mrs.) Elizabeth "Elisa " Chockley Oct, 26, 1847.
- Pricilla W. Tomberlin d/o Celia Tomberlin age 20 married Nathaniel Hays age 20 s/o Emmons Hays Aug, 14, 1835.
All of these marriages took place in McDonough County I believe which is now is called the town of Industry. I come from the family line of James B. and Clanky (Hays) Tomberlin.
